I wish I woud have seen your videos a year ago. My daughter hair was just like this, actually shorter. I went through so much trial and error, the wild growth oil helped tremendously for my daughter,that plus the loc method. She went from itty,bitty pony tails to nice full thick puffs & hang time. But yea I went and watched some old videos and I definitely see the growth, your doing an amazing job, her hair will be so full and long in no time. .

My daughter has this exact texture of hair. It took so long to start growing but once I left it alone, it started growing. You do great styles on her hair but if you leave it in this style for a while, it will start growing so much faster! I wash my daughters hair every other week and in between just cowash it. I add coconut oil to her shampoos and conditioners to keep it from drying out, then moisturize and twist when she’s sleep. I used to try doing styles in her hair frequently and realized it was thinning her sides out and slowing the growth process. You do great with all of your children’s hair! Try styling less because fine hair definitely breaks much easier 😘😘😘😘

My daughter's hair pass their butt and i see how she looks at my daughters all sad,her mom used hair extensions sooo tied that she become bald at her edges 😢 sad ! I love afro hairs i told her she needs to love her hair and rock it the way it is.I told her that there's nothing wrong with her hair she just need to let it grow without the extension and all that stuff that damage her hair.So here i am trying to find a solution for her, thanks for the video.😉😊👌

Hey, Lakieva! All products used are listed in the description box. Her currently regimen is a little different than when this video was recorded. I do still wash/co-wash her hair every week (I'm currently using Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen and Restore Shampoo & Conditioner). I deep condition her hair once a week (I'm currently using Nurcreations Fermented Rice Deep Conditioner: Nurcreations.com ) If you prefer something store-bought, Shea Moisture has a good deep conditioner from that same product line. I always apply the deep conditioner and cover with a shower cap for about 20 minutes, then rinse it out. As far as everyday styling, I use the L.O.C. method (liquid, oil, cream). I spray her hair down with water, apply a cream based moisturizer (shea moisture coconut & hibiscus butter cream), then an oil (100% Pure Jamaican Black Castor Oil). To finesse her edges and add some shine, I like the Aunt Jackie's Girls Style & Shine or Blue Magic Super Sure Gro. To further promote hair growth, I apply an oil (a growth oil from GS by Sadora or Jamaican Black Castor Oil) and give her a 5-10 minute scalp massage (2-3 times a week). I'm going to do a very detailed video on this very soon! That's her whole routine! Hope this helps!

It’s finally growing linger but I guess she won’t have thick hair like we do. My bio father has curly, fine 3a type hair so I guess she gets it from him but all He does is smacks water and some water and conditioner on his head and not do anything for days... yeah that doesn’t work for my kid. Hey, Veronica! I know how you feel. I have the HARDEST time trying to grip Maiah's very fine hair. I've learned to just stick with ponytails with her. @NaturallyTiffany

I can definitely relate! What helped me with combating dryness is co-washing. I only shampoo once a month (unless her hair is really dirty) and I co-wash on days her hair starts looking dry and dull (about twice a month). I also deep condition twice a month (apply deep conditioner, cover with a shower cap, and leave it in for about an hour). I like the Shea Moisture Products. They have something for everybody. I also like Reagan Sanai Natural Hair Essentials, ORS Girls Olive Oil Product line, and Cantu Kids. =)

Thank you so much for all your videos!! I’ve been binging on them! My daughter (2 yo) was born with a mo’hawk! So she has hair that’s long at the top and barely there on the nape and sides. She also has fine hair with tight coils, which is complete opposite of my hair that’s thick and looser. I’ve been at a complete loss of what to do with her hair and styles I can do. @NaturallyTiffany
5 жыл бұрын
My best advice is using the L.O.C method (L=leave-in conditioner or water, O=oil, C=cream moisturizer). I suggest using a daily leave-in conditioner (Eden Bodyworks and Taliah Waajid are two brands I use a lot), and top with a light oil such as jojoba oil, avocado, or coconut oil. Also, Blue Magic (hair grease) works great for shine. Also, co-wash the hair versus shampooing. I try to only shampoo when the hair is dirty or I notice build-up. =)

I used the Taliah Waajid Tangles Out Today Leave-in Conditioner, 100% Jojoba oil, and Shea Moisture Kids Coconut & Hibiscus Curling Butter Cream. For growth I've used Wild Growth oil and Baby Don't Be Bald. I had the most results with Baby Don't Be Bald (apply to the scalp, followed by a 2-3 minute scalp massage 2-3 times a week). Links are in the description box. 🙂

@NaturallyTiffany
5 жыл бұрын
Hey, Angela! For breakage, I recommend routine deep conditioning (at least once every two weeks), a monthly protein treatment, and keep a satin bonnet on her hair at night. And of course, keep her hair moisturized daily (or at any sign of dryness). If you think it may be traction alopecia (see a professional to confirm), keep her styles loose with no tension. I hope this helps! =)
