Actually, the way she has it, the back and sides of her head are flat and the position of the curling “rods” shouldn’t interfere much with comfortable sleep. ☺️ But yes, I myself have tried unsuccessfully to sleep with plastic rods all over my head when I was young and silly. 😂

I’d move a set up every 4/6 weeks by myself and I didn’t mind the upkeep. Could use the same hair for two installs before it became a bit ratty and I needed a new set. It ain’t that deep. Sleeping bonnets go back to olden times. Socks and rags as styling tools do as well. White and black women used these methods for a really long time without accusations of theft. I’m glad white chicks are readopting them because it makes for easy to find replacements when you live several hours away from the nearest black beauty supply and don’t want to wait for an Amazon delivery. The most fun is watching them try to use hair food and hot combs. Now that’s entertainment.

Where were you LAST NIGHT!!!??? I NEEDED THIS!!! ARGH!!!! I was using more clips and bobby pins and did a bunch of large “pin curls” etc….and yes, ok, fiiinnneee. It turned out ‘ok’ but YOU TOOK 5 MINUTES to get what took me just as long as it took to blowout my hair in the first place. Regardless, THANK YOU (for next time LOL) as I WILL BE DOING IT THIS WAY so I can actually get some SLEEP when I must get ready the night before!!!! Ur a ROCK STAR❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Note to self: Spend MORE TIME ON KZitem! (I’m not sure if that is possible but…..)
