A 35-40 acre brush fire broke out in the area of Beverly Crest just north of Beverly Hills yesterday afternoon.The fire was sparked Tuesday afternoon by someone using a weed wacker to clear brush in preparation brush fire season, according to the LAFD. 86 homes were ordered to evacuate the neighborhood but were told to return last night after 250+ firefighters made good efforts at containing the blaze. Multiple agencies responded to the incident including the Beverly Hills Fire Department, Los Angeles County Fire Department, Culver City Fire Department, and the Santa Monica Fire Department.
