Fantastic! Thank you. I've seen it several times either in German or in fuzzy versions with English subtitles. This is so superior and so enjoyable.

A stressed out nervous system sends messages of 'flight, fight or freeze' to the muscles, which makes it unnecessary hard for the dancer to be receptive and incorporate new ways of artistic expression. Kindness and encouragement work much better than negativity in coaching. Coaching is an art in itself, requires deep emotional understanding and love to foster and give to another artistic soul.

Wow Makarova is a really strict coach. But not gonna lie, I think everything she said made total sense and was really valuable information. It's one thing to raise the leg high, it's another thing to really convey the "I want to fly but I can't" feeling. I understand if that dancer felt frustrated, but I hoped she had absorbed everything.

Macarova ha delle braccia "parlanti". Una espressività corporea davvero sbalorditiva!

I don’t think Makarova was a good coach. This poor girl seems too harassed to learn anything.

You are 100% incorrect. My own great ballet teachers were brutal in comparison to Makarova who is being quite nice. It is frustrating to coach someone who is lacking in artistic ability. There are many acrobats who can perform steps but cannot dance.
