Propagating Fig Trees is pretty easy to do if you know how. In this video, I will show you step by step how to create a new Fig Tree cutting with a huge root ball. With more and healthier roots to start with, there is less chance that the new Fig Tree cutting will be lost to stress. It can be a shock sometimes when they are first separated from the mother plant. The method that I use in the video is called Air Layering. I've found that air layered cuttings show much less transplant shock than cuttings done with the simple layering method. Let us know if you have ever air layered a fig, or any other plant.
