Fungus breaths oxygen and exhales carbon dioxide. If there's nothing making carbon dioxide then you have a very rich oxygen environment and you will get mold. Springtails also eat mold spores. The rollie pollies eat decaying material

Жыл бұрын
Erm, I'm not sure exactly what you mean. Is there algae or moss actually on the inside of the glass? It really depends on the container but a long paintbrush, kitchen paper on tweezers or a two-way magnet cleaner would be the best way to go - generally.
@deejay8889
Жыл бұрын
@@ome. yes inside the glass, between the underground soil and the glass. It seems to be algae or Moss. Surely due to too much humidity for too much Time
@Mace9396
Жыл бұрын
Isnt that how its supposed to look after a while? I thought the algea that grows beneath the substrate is a good thing, that means your ecosystem is growing. On the glass above the soil, use a razor blade or a magnetic cleaning tool

I think since the Ficus is so small it might better accentuate it if you added smaller pieces of moss for a better contrast and forced perspective. Keep doing them they look really cool, I'd like to try one one day. I do bonsai myself and think it was a really cool idea of making a terrarium out of one.

I think it's really beautiful ,I'm thinking of using A Dessert rose and a.jade plant to bonsai.I was looking at the bonsai trees yesterday. I fell in love with a Japanese maple. but at $295.00 I couldn't take it home. as I'd just gotten a mulcher. 🥴 that way I don't have to keep worrying about palm fronds. and weed disposal. I can mulch most of them and put into the garden.
