I love this! I found it by watching your 10 Last Minute Gifts. I used to work in a clothing shop and we would wrap gifts. The store had large rolls of ribbon and plastic pokey things that bows once had (instead of a sticky tab and yes, I'm dating my self lol). We would use the heavy metal bow making contraption to have bows on the ready. Watching you make these reminded me of making those bows. Thanks for the tutorial and memory!

I just saw this, so I’m a little late. Thanks for a great idea! I am not a fan of hand sewing either, so I may try to figure out how to do this with Fabri-Fix glue. Or perhaps glue and sewing.

Do you use the same length of 72" length for whatever size star is used?

I love your channel and I love this project!!! I am going to make a few of these. Just one question where would you place the wire you talked about for the tree?
@TheSewingChannel
9 ай бұрын
You're welcome...I would place the wire anywhere along backside of bow. Just slide it through a spot on back and twist wire then twist ends to tree✅

You always have something I've never seen before but 72" fabric? Are you cutting lengthwise? This is very cool!!! 💗💗
@TheSewingChannel
2 жыл бұрын
*_Terri....I cut along the selvage side...it's 2yards. But you can cut anywhere. You can even sew 3 or 4 pieces together if you have shorter pieces....It sounds like alot but when you see it in front of you it's not✅_*

Love these! Did you sew 2 36” strips together to end up with 72” or did you sew together two 72” strips? Thanks, Tracy!
