Where did all inside planes go? I mean the initial golden rectangles. And how did you measured exactly 200000mm if you used a snap function to build a rectangle?

The length of the diagonal of your golden rectangle is the length of the diameter of the Isodecahedron you will build. So if you want a specific measurement you can draw a small golden rectangle, draw the diagonal, follow the diagonal axis to expand the line to the required length and finally expand the size of the golden rectangle to the new diagonal you just created. Hope that was clear enough ;)

Could you make the clicking sounds just a little more obnoxious and waste a little more time with idle chit chat.

Wow! That was a complete waste of time! I thought by "Sketchup" you were going to give a tutoriorial on how to sketch Icosahedrons and Dodecahedrons with pad and pencil.

@RVM451 You know It's perfectly possible to demonstrate your so-called drawing process with paper and pen, not software

@@刘晓金 Friend, I always try to answer anyone who cares enough to respond to my comments. I find it quite flattering. I have to say though, you may be 100% correct. It has been 3-months since I watched that video-and while I found it disappointing, I don't remember it well enough to evaluate your statement that the principles are applicable to regular drawing. As I say, you may very well be right.
