Personal, but you stated this in your tutorial. My great-grandparents, grandparents, and mother all did this especially when Aunt Flo visited. They had a pail with a lid to put it in, which kept cleaner until they got washed. Yes, when Covid hit us, I made tons of these for us and my grandchildren. They work and it works.

Wipes like those are also so gentle to use. I’ve been using wipes similar to those for a while. Thank you for encouraging others with your video.

I purchased a value pack (20) of washcloths. Cut each in half and make 2 wipes. I use only white so I don't have to deal with dyes. I keep a small bin with a vinegar/water mix beside the toilet for used wipes. I wash my wipes in HOT water with vinegar, bleach, and detergent, and rinse twice (I have sensitive skin).

Ever tried the product Bac-out by Bio Clean? You put the poop wipes in the washing machine top loader and fill it with hot water and Bac-Out and soap overnight. Then, the next morning you just continue the washing machine cycle as you started the night before and it totally makes clean free diapers/wipes without using any bleach. I think this is better for the environment. The hot water will activate the Bac-Out enzymes to eat the poops. You need to shake the poop chunks off into the toilet, but this is how I washed my daughter’s diapers and I couldn’t use bleach on them. I t works great!

We’ve been using cloth wipes since the “Great TP Shortage of 2020” and we still use cloth wipes. I purchase a pack of 10 white huck towels 100% cotton, and cut them in quarters for 40 wipes. They can be washed like we used to wash the old fashioned cloth baby diapers, hot water, bleach, and two rinses. I suggest getting 100% cotton fabric.

You must be joking! In South Africa this would clog drains and cost thousands of rands that we would have to pay the council to unblock ... this idea won't work for us.

I think you are supposed to machine wash the wipes, rather than flushing them.
