I love Make. Their support was top tier and I was able to get my orders from woocommerce to sheets and having another scenario to update the order status whenever it was updated on woocommerce. Their visual interface makes it easier to make the integration not to mention that the free plan has 1000 actions per month for free vs 100 from zapier. This looks like a paid comment but I just solved a 2year problem I had and I can't hide the satisfaction

Awesome news Francisco. It always rocks to hear from users about how they utilize the platform. How else are you using Make? Would love to here. :)

Thank you. I was leaning this way based on pricing. Also maybe there is something to be said for learning the more complex route first. It would make adopting other automation tools such as zapier or even power automate in some scenarios a lot smoother versus going the other way. I found this video very helpful and unbiased so I appreciate your time in making it.

My problem with make is that once the integration doesn't run all the way I have to delete the first module(aka the trigger event) and set it up once again. It is pain and it really slows down the process.

I’ve been building with Zapier and should have compared the two more closely. Especially the price. The reason I’m looking to switch now to Make is that I’ve read that Make can send a response back to Webflow (in my case) which Zapier can’t do. For example, after submitting a form and processing the data, send a response message to update the user on whether the process was a success or not. So important if you’re building a more complex SaaS platform.

Hi Marc. If you are looking to send data from a form submission directly to your Webflow site, correct, Zapier does have limitations; however, there is a zap that allows form submissions to update items and orders. Make is the way to go for more complex functionality. Eager to learn your usecase.

Very informative! Thank you! You explained the delay function on Make. Can you please elaborate about the round about way of doing it using Your Database and then retrieving the information. I tried various way of doing this but it didn't work. Can you please post another short video about how you would do this, or at least a diagram. Thanks in advance.

Thank you for the kind words, Simon. If you are familiar with our service, we are an online form builder. With our intuitive builder, you can easily create beautiful online forms and then share them. You can connect your forms with other platforms using a direct integration, or an integration platform such as Zapier or Make. An integration will only occur upon a successful submission, it cannot be triggered at any other time. Reach out to support@paperform.co if you have any other questions. Stay safe

I’ve never made a zap successfully. I’ve done all the steps correctly but it ends up not doing exactly what i want or sometimes not even close. Zapier to me is great in theory but never executes the way I need. Maybe it’s too complicated or just not user friendly enough. Will look into Make.

00:00 🤖 Integration automation platforms (like Zapier and Make) allow you to automate workflows by connecting apps, saving time and effort on repetitive tasks. 00:44 🛠 Zapier is a popular and well-known workflow automation platform with over 4,000 apps in its directory, while Make (formerly Integromat) is a no-code and low-code platform offering similar functionality. 02:08 📊 Zapier's user interface is more straightforward for beginners to follow, making it easier to set up workflow automations. 09:32 📈 Make excels in visualizing complex workflows, allowing you to customize and arrange modules easily, making it preferable for intricate scenarios. 11:53 🕰 Zapier offers powerful features like filtering, formatting data, and advanced delay options, providing more flexibility for experienced users. 13:14 📚 Make's functionality includes setting filters and using databases as a workaround for delaying scenarios, but it can be more complex than Zapier's delay tool. 14:48 💲 Make's free plan offers more generous operations (1,000) compared to Zapier's five zaps on the free plan, making it a cost-effective choice for many users. 16:00 🏆 Overall, Make is recommended due to its robust functionality, intuitive visual representation, and cost-effectiveness, while Zapier is suggested for beginners or users needing extensive app directory support.

Both Zapier and Make advise that you can integrate your Pinterest account with other tools. Just visit the respective help centre and take a look, or run a Google search.
