Newly re-uploaded and now named "Make It With Momo", in this video I'm sharing a SUPER simple way of making gloves quickly, without any of the usual frustrations of gussets, insets, etc! Do note, this isn't exactly the most "proper" way of making the best-fitting gloves, and it only works with stretchy fabrics, but it is hands down (see what I did there?) the most efficient!
Get your very own Pilot FriXion Highlighters here, I cannot recommend these enough for seamsters! amzn.to/3f3wzcg
It is very important to use 4-way stretch fabrics that don't fray or tear easily. Spandex is highly recommended, or similar weight fabrics. Heavy weight fabrics can work with some modifications, but you may just have to play around with it to get your desired fit and look!
There are no patterns for this item specifically, because there's so many variations of hand sizes and fabric types, but it is quite easy to make your own. Remember in school when you'd trace your hand to make a turkey? (Or is that just an American thing?) This is a similar concept! Just make sure to actually widen the area below your pinky and thumb, since that lower part of your palm is thicker, and needs more space to comfortably fit into the gloves.
