I came from the making money online niche, in fact that's how I discovered Income School, by writing product reviews of opportunities. And I gave it a thumbs up. But time to move on, the website is already gone. There was too much content, tough competition, and too few page views. I earned affiliate sales, but it's not sustainable. Basically it's my first ever blogging niche to have specialized in, someone suggested it to me. But now that I know better, I'm better able to think of niche sites, and so top of mind to learn niche site blogging, I thought, is here at Income School.

I was on the same boat. I started in the MMO niche, and found it hard to compete. Since trying out a few different niches, I found one that's working quite well. It's interesting how you can approach 1 niche using a similar framework and make almost nothing, but on another niche, earns you thousands with substantially less effort. Don't get discouraged though. What you are learning while participating in the MMO niche won't go in vain.

Hey Ricky, I was wondering if you could create a couple of videos where you use the Acabado theme to create various demo sites from scratch. I have owned the Acabado theme for a while, but I have not used it very much because it frustrated me when I tried to understand how to use it. I'm also looking at the many KZitem Playlist that are on your KZitem channel and I don't see a playlist that would correspond to Acabado training. If you do create the videos that I am asking about, then would you also make a playlist for those videos. Thanks for all of the many good videos that you already have put out.

All my traffic is from sharing links to my articles on Twitter since google hasn't found me yet lol. I think this shows my blog has potential, problem is that it is YMYL. Worried I may never rank high on Google. Would you consider a video on how you would do a YMYL site? It's not medical. I do have a credential that is loosely related to my topic. I'm kind of questioning my niche now. So I started a blog on home hobbies because there's a lot of things that I like to do at home like board gaming, reloading ammo, homebrewing, and jiu jitsu in the garage. So my blog is about this and my experience with all these and of course has lots of products that I can promote. Is this too broad?
@ifwecouldvote
Жыл бұрын
I would say those topics are too broad. You have martial arts, firearms, boargames, and alcohol, which are all very broad and competitive. Focus it down to a demographic or one type of hobby to begin with. For example, games for kids at home or game night for adults. Or home fitness. Those are still quite broad and competitve but a little better.

bc everyone already knows how to do that. It's not hard to google "how to build a website." This is for those who already have websites. Perhaps you should visit a more basic channel, which will instruct you on that.
@JoeGator23
2 жыл бұрын
@@SadieMaeSmiley I already did, nothing special as far as "getting it all together" goes. Other channels basically have the same information. I was hoping for a more mapped-out way to get everything specifically configured, not general lessons and a theme for sale that was once included for $450. I see value in their product, but the content and instruction methods are nothing revolutionary, and in fact mediocre. Particularly from the start-up phase. Don't get me wrong, I like these guys and their channel. It's just not worth it for me at this point unless they make the course include some of the behind-the-scenes how-to's in a video format. I'd surely give it another go if the course was better and they offered a preview before you buy their unrefundable course. But some people claim great results... it's only my opinion.
@IncomeSchool
2 жыл бұрын
So the theme is still included. Project 24 members don’t pay for it. Also, we literally have videos walking through every step of initial website setup. Everything after that comes down to preference and specific needs for your site. I’m curious to know what you think is missing from the blogging course in terms of website setup. It’s pretty extensive.
@JoeGator23
2 жыл бұрын
@@arthedainedain9846 I can build a website, but per their custom theme and instruction the frame work looks horrible and scores low pagespeeds on mobile. This is using optimized content. The pages that I build all score +94 on pagespeed insites, but it has nothing to do with Incomes School's course or theme. New users would be unknowingly stuck using an inferior product. That's why I suggested more videos on how to make their course functional... and people can learn from each other in the comment section. The course nothing special for $450 to the unitiated and I'm sure many other subscribers gave up because of the way the course flows- with no refund option from day one. I like their channel, it's just not a high recommendation for their semi-helpful course until it gets better.

I appreciate constructive feedback. The thing is that we have actually found there a substantial difference in how well informational videos do on KZitem depending on their pace. If a video feels slow to a user, they’re more likely to select another video. Pauses in speech, while effective in live speaking, can seriously hinder a KZitem video. So while I’m actually not talking a lot faster than usual in this video, only a little actually, the pace of the video is pretty fast, moving quickly from one point to the next. That’s intentional and while not everyone likes it, it helps get these videos seen by more people. Thanks for the feedback.
