24:11 Hmmmmmmm that sounds familiar... I brought this EXACT idea up to Doug Polk and told him if he was interested in opening up a poker brand in northeastern America and that whole surrounding area because you can just see how, although they have the "big name" venue's like Borgata, Bally's, and ALL of Atlantic City, but not everyone can GET there, and so they've laughed at me (for I believe WELL OVER a year now) in trying to start over and actually try doing it the right way, but in MORE unique ways and places where it's even more accessible.. 24:11 LFG

There are several Maverick poker rooms in my area. With a few exceptions, the structures of their tournaments are generally very poor, and the rake is pretty high. The games were actually better 10+ years ago when the tribal casinos ran most of the games. Which is saying something, and it's not something good. Also, he talks a good game about integrating with tournament circuits, but his poker rooms here are way too small. Think 13-14 tables max. The hype is not matching the observable reality. This is a bad joke. His poker rooms make foreign unregulated online poker sites who are willing to take US players look attractive. It would be nice if Dan would push back on this guy's BS. Instead he just lets Persson say a bunch of crap unchallenged.

We are limited by Washington State Law tp 15 tables and $300 max bet. I would love to build a 60 table room in Seattle area with true no limit hold em. But its not legally allowed...

@@ericpersson5779 I was aware of the max bet limit, but not the limit on number of tables. There is no doubt that Washington state is stupidly hostile to poker. Regardless, my main issue is the very poor tournament structures and high rake. Like I said, when I checked my notes from 10-12 years ago, the tribal casinos were offering better games. On that note, when the tribal casinos ran their tournaments, they were very clear that the additional chips you could buy were "dealer appreciation" chips, and that money went to the dealers as basically a tip; the extra money went to the dealers. In your poker rooms, into whose pockets does that money go? The dealers, or yours?

@@ericpersson5779 I knew about the $300 limit but not about the 15 table max per room. There is no doubt that Washington state is stupidly hostile to poker, both online and live. But my main point was and is that most of the tournaments in your poker rooms have horribly fast structures and high rake. I looked at my notes from 10-12 years ago, and the NLHE tournaments at the tribal casinos were a much better value; slower structures and lower rakes percentage-wise. Also, the optional add-ons at their tournaments were referred to as "dealer appreciation chips" and the money from them explicitly went to the dealers. Is that true for your poker rooms? Does the money from the add-ons go into the dealers' pockets, or yours?

@@ericpersson5779 nope it's not. And they make way more per table per hour from table games than they do per table from poker. In 2023 Nevada WON (not revenue) 13 billion on machines And 5.2 billion on table games On blackjack alone they won 1.3 billion and on baccarat they won 1.5 billion. These aren't the loss leaders you're making them out to be. On the Vegas strip it's even closer 4.8 billion in wins from machines and 4 billion in wins on table games Now it's true that compared to 20 years ago they make less from table games as a percentage of their overall profit but they're still making a ton of money from them.
