SIMPLE CARROT PICKLE RECIPE by EVERYTHING BUT PASTA (RECIPE BELOW!):
Here is a tangy, sour and even even spicy side with your dinner that goes perfect with Indian dishes as well as any other cuisine!
I N G R E D I E N T S :
4 Medium Carrot, julienned
Handful of fresh cilantro, chopped
4 tbsp of tomato paste
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
3 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp vegetable oil
3 tbsp red chilli powder (optional)
D I R E C T I O N S :
Start by peeling the carrot and julienning them either fine or wide. Chop the cilantro coarsely and add it to the carrots. Add the remaining ingredients to the carrots and mix well. If desired, spice the carrots with red chilli powder. You can adjust the chilli to taste.
