As you design your website, you may run into problems where your images aren’t the same size and when next to each other, it looks different. This tutorial is to quickly show you how to ensure that website images are the same size when images are lined up next to each other.
The simplest way to get the same size images is to ensure that your images are the same size to start off. Many times people will upload photos directly from the camera, phone, .etc. Often these devices have different resolution sizes and therefore images are bigger, wider, or taller on one device versus another.
If you upload images that are the same height and width, then you can avoid any issues of images displaying strangely.
Sometimes your website template will take care of these steps for you, but it’s not always the case. And so by uploading the same height, you won’t have to depend on your theme to do as you would hope.
The image resizes tool that I recommended in the video is Canva: canva.com.
I use Sketch and more recently Figma, but these are geared towards web designers.
Hope this was helpful. Remember the trick is to upload images that have the same height and width.
