Taking notes, because those swimbaits from overseas are gonna be money!

Great video! In Europe we pike fish allways that way (the rig for big softbaits). You can put a rattle in the tail for more sound. Keep up making nice video's!

Try using swaging pliers to crimp the barrel sleeves or just use simple crimping pliers from afw (or similar) on making wire crimps. It looked like you were using wimpy electric wire crimpers on the wire. (I could be wrong). I personally use swaging crimping pliers for most of my tackle.

nice tutorial. you ever tried using magnets on their own with no metal spikes? never piked how after repetitive penetration, the plastic gets torne up to the point where not even a spike with a bard will stay in the lure during a cast or when it hits weeds

I’ll have to try that, I’ve been paring the spikes with magnets but that seems like a good idea!

@@kanalgratisdotcom do the hooks often speerate from the magnet when using the "magnet + metal spike" combo?

Generally like your videos and I´ll even slam a like on this one, but honestly the rig seemed very sloppy. From having sharp ends sticking out of crimps instead of doing a double tuck, shrink tube wrap, super glue drop to cover the end or something, to the setup of spikes. Was not my favorite video but I´ll for sure catch you on the next one! Keep up the good work!

Appreciate the honesty! I could for sure do more to tidy my rigs up but oh well, I’ll keep it in mind for the next one! Thanks for watching!!
