You know, as a mathematician... I also think about the pleats as "shapes that work" instead of "number gibberish". If you go far enough into geometry, it circles (heh) back around to talking about shapes with words (and avoiding calculations like the plague)

Alas, I had to stop but watching this was nearly as fun. Also second the recommendation for the burns style dressing on a tattoo. They put one on a tattoo I got when visiting Canada...absolute game changer! I will definitely use one for my next tattoo

Such good timing for this video to keep me company while I work.. I just got the last session done on my back piece (which I am healing in the traditional manner due to being incredibly sensitive to the vast majority of medical adhesives) and am also restoring my great grandmother's 1916 Singer 66 treadle machine. I finally got the feed dog cover off so I could get the massive amount of fossilized scuzz out and I have great hopes she'll be ready for her new belt soon and her first project in quite some time.

My last tattoo was courtesy of my wonderful grandson. He is very talented musician and drew a lovely picture of a guitar with swirls and roses and personalised it with a heart in the trans flag colours. I had it transferred and tattooed on my inner left arm - and they used the 'magic' skin to cover it. It was wonderful! As you say, no worries about how much ointment to use and concerns about infections. When I removed it after 5 days it was completely healed! Why the trans heart? because my handsome boy was born biologically female but he knows he should have been born male. I love him with all my heart and if that's what he needs - then that's what he shall have. This dress is wonderful by the way. I failed my maths 'O' level but even I understood your explanantion about the pleating = so you can't be that bad at letting us know what you are doing and why 😀 Sending much love from here in bonnie Scotland xx

Very pretty dress! Like the geometric yet organic fabric and the scarf detail on the strap! Can highly relate to your choir tangent! I used to be in choirs from age 3 to end of high school and then finally joined a choir after 5 years break but then the pandemic hit and since then I moved abroad and had many respiratory infections, so haven't looked out for a new choir and I miss it soo much! I'd like a classical choir, because that's my favourite music to sing but would probably have to do a lot of vocal training before I can keep up with that again...

This dress turned out gorgeous! I love hearing your little stories about choir and the kitties and such. I noticed the plastic on your arm and was going to ask but knew you would likely explain it further in the video and waited. I change my mind too much for tattoos on myself (plus a crippling fear of needles) so I admire the ink on other people. Do you wear a longline bra or corset with your dresses? Or do you just have an amazing shape naturally?

In this video I am wearing the Bali brand "flower" style bra which is my usual style, then occasionally I wear the Rago longline but it's not as comfortable so it really depends on what I'm after that day. Your tattoo looks great, more spiderwebs everywhere! Saniderm is great for tattoos, I had it on my latest and it healed far better than any other I've had.

The dress is awesome! As a human who also enjoys getting tattoos, I really appreciate the tip about the transparent bandage. I will be looking that up for my next tattoo. 💜

Amazing dress, loved the print and color of the fabric. The cape detail is so elegant! Happy late birthday, I hope you have had a great day. Wish you all the best!

Oh! Now that's cute as all get out! Love the sash too. I guess you could attach the sash with hooks and eyes to make it detachable.

Looks great Bianca! Glad you had a wonderful birthday date too! 🍰 with extra tapis ( not exactly sure what that is lol) ! To really give it the Esther Williams look/ style a little curve at the bottom would be 💋 On a sad note 🎵 from not singing regularly I've lost some of my voice too 😭 Dam covid pandemic! Since your in the basement I think you might try singing out and see if you Mom can hear you or is bothered by her girl singing...even if she's in a meeting. Glad to hear of your writing break coming up 😀All the best 👍

Thank you Jayne! Tapas are "A tapa is an appetizer or snack in Spanish cuisine. Tapas may be cold or hot." according to google. My favorite was a plate of fried pita chips with whipped goat cheese and honey spread, it was delicious ❤
