Making a ceramic chess board, the full process from start to finish.
A perfect pottery project to do at home - no wheel is needed and air dry clay can be used (no bake / no oven).
This is the perfect DIY gift idea or just nice to make for yourself! ♟️
You can use air-dry clay for this project as it does not need to be food safe. If you do use air-dry clay, you can use normal paint to decorate or give color to your finished pieces and apply a layer of glossy spray or mod podge to give a shiny finish.
If you are using stoneware or earthenware clay, make sure to use the proper materials to finish it off.
