In my last videos, I use a rail to cut large boards with a circular saw, here is the tutorial!
I used plywood dimensions 250 x 28 cm, thickness 15mm, 2 steel plates and 4 screws to fix them under the saw.
It therefore allows me to make cuts up to 2.5 m.
To use it is simple, just place the board on fairly high "martyrs" cleats, place the rail flush with the line of the board to be cut (the rail being on the part that we keep) , to fix the rail with clamps, and finally to cut!
Tip: only let the blade protrude a few millimeters under the board, it doesn't need to protrude any more.
Small error: at the beginning of the video we see that I am trying to put the 2 steel guides on each side of the blade, this is of course not possible, then I put the 2 guides on the same side.
