In this video I show you the whole process of how I made a beautiful SANTOKU JAPANESE KNIFE using SCRAP IRON! an old rusty bearing cover! showing the whole process from the beginning, the preparation of the bearing layer, stretching, forging, the roughing, all the finishes were necessary to manufacture this beautiful knife made JAPANESE SANTOKU
It was my first time making this type of knife and I really liked it, Japanese knives have a big difficulty with the handle, it was an incredible challenge! in the end it became a beautiful knife, delicate and extremely sharp!
