Mini hatchet, camp hatchet, pack hatchet...whatever you want to call it -- in the latest Pop's Project of the Month, bladesmith Walter Sorrells shows the making of a small, light, easily carried hatchet. The blade -- made entirely from material from Pop's Knife Supplies -- is a relatively simple entry level blade making project. The one-piece blade and handle are made from 8670 steel, and the handle is made from vintage micarta. It's a great DIY project!
