Nice work. Just a small tip from an old humble teacher. Of course it's not a heavy duty tool but a diagonal wedge you would have more pressure between wood and brass on the 4 sides of the housing then two small wedges and esthetically nicer. Keep up the good work and be safe.

Your artistic abilities are evident in everything you do. Your videos are a joy to watch. Could you possibly do a video on drawing on the board? Tools, types/hardness of pencils, tricks and techniques? I'm a cad designer and beginning woodworker and it would be a great help. Again, thanks for taking the time and effort to make these videos.

When in doubt, make it a work of art. And, it can't hurt to make the plans works of art either. I see why my woodworking isn't what it could be; I wasn't a sculptor first! It's those little nuances, like the brass tube through the lanyard hole and maple wedges, that draw attention through their subtlety. Very beautiful.

You definitely make beautiful tools Bob, but you gotta stop until I can get caught up. Work on the boat for awhile until I can get the marking tool and a cutting tool done, please (lol). Take care, stay well and have fun.
