This is wonderful! I'm an American Pagan, specifically eclectic hedge witch, and seeing how respectful you are of all the different kinds of Paganism is lovely. Keep being your beautiful self!

The feather hat is seriously stylish. You should go all the way with that and make some kind of "woodland explorers hat".

I once met a shaman at the Sidmouth folk festival back in the 2000's, what an incredible fellow he was!

Correction: shamans don't come from the Americas, they come from Siberia! The word itself comes from the Evenki language and means "knower". Then through Russian it was absorbed into many other languages, including English.

Thanks for that. The point I clumsily made is that they are mostly associated with the Americas these days. Like many other traditions, the place they are best known from isn't always where they originated. Happy to be corrected 🙂

@@Colganology I would say that it's currently mostly associated with Korea, seeing how its former president is currently serving 30 years in prison for allowing a shaman to dictate her policies.

Lovely job there. The shaman (shaperson?) should wield it with pride in the photoshoot. I'm really rather looking forward to seeing the videos of the upcoming photoshoots. Also your theme music is driving me crazy. I'm sure I recognise it from somewhere, but "zee little grey cells" just aren't firing properly these days.

It's library music. I'll find the title. Undoubtedly used at some time on either Spongebob or Ren and Stimpy!

The music is actually called 'Exciting Percussion' by John Fox. It's librarymusic used in Ren and Stimpy and appears on their second CD of production music. kzitem.info/news/bejne/jml4rZegcampqaA
