Been wanting to do this for a long time.
The grill area is 19" x 13" and the tray is 4" deep. Mainly want to use wood as the fuel, but it can also run on charcoal.
The stainless steel rods were left over from a job I did several years ago and are 1/2" diameter. Not sure what grade of stainless, but no problem welding it to the mild steel ends.
The 1/4" steel was on it's way to the garbage bin (amazing what gets thrown away on a commercial job site) when I snagged it, knowing I could do something with it eventually.
I spent the better part of 2 days making the grill and the tray, and that's something I'd like to get across in these videos - projects like this take a lot longer than they appear to in these videos. This is especially true when using scrap material, although I was fairly lucky with this because what I had was already very suitable.
