Loved watching your step by step video! I have peaches sitting out on my counter. Question: when should you add the 2nd 3/4 cup of lemon juice? You tossed the peaches with the first 3/4 cup.

Thanks so much for sharing. Your instructions are clear and concise. The end result is well worth the effort even for someone like me that has to buy the fruit.

OMG! Delicious! My mom and her sisters canned everything with the pressure cooker or as you have done, I remember the houses being so hot. We kids snapped beans for days.lol....jams and Kellie's were a big one. Potatoe, mixed veggies, meat, fruits.

American canner doesn't recommend using their canning pot on a glass top cookstove..I have a stainless steel canning pot..no issues with using it on my glass top.

Man! I would probably freeze it! It looks like it wastes a lot of energy. Not to mention that the food is being cooked repeatedly, and to make a pie you've have to cook it once more, so the peaches are there for flavor because at that point there is no nutrition left in them. Not very practical. But I do have to say it was interesting to watch as a traditional means of preservation and historical value. Good job!

and 6 years from now, when you've had power outages and lost things in your freezer, or your peaches have become freezer burned, those peaches will still be good as new, waiting to be turned into a pie.

@@robincastle2209 if you had peaches waiting 6 years on a shelf you don't like peaches too much, and thus no need need to be canning them. Once again a waste of time.
