I am so happy I found out that black walnuts are anti-fungal. I had no idea. I had hoped it would clear up my grandsons cheeks but he really needed something else. I will be using this for other things though. I will also be making a tincture to try on toenail fungus as well as warts.
Let me know what your favorite salve is. Here is the recipe for this walnut salve...
3.5 oz (100g) infused oil (about 1/2 cup)
0.5 oz (14g) beeswax pastilles (about 2 loosely filled tablespoons)
3 drops clove essential oil
18 drops lavender essential oil
3-5 drops vitamin E drops
1. Combine the infused oil and beeswax into a heat proof jar or melting container.
2. Set jar into a pan containing several inches of water (put a folded cloth under jar).
3. Place pan over. medium-low burner and allow the heat to gently melt the beeswax.
4. Once melted, remove from heat.
5. Stir in the essential oils of choice, then pour into containers.
7. Let cool and cover with the lids.
8. Label and store in cool dry spot. Shelf life is around 1+ years.
Let me know if you make this and how you used it.
Blessings my friends,
Penny
