I put canned sliced beets along with the juice in the can, into my blender. I drink it with 100% vegetable juice. I mix it 25% beet juice and 75% vegetable juice. I am 78 years old and in perfect health. I don't need glasses, hearing aid, cane or a crutch. My VA doctor tells me that I could easily live to 120. Don't that beet all.

It's amazing what a spur of the moment video can do. This is still my most popular video on youtube today with almost a quarter of a million views. You all that have commented have been amazing and much appreciated. For the 2020 season, I will be adding in some of my favorite juice/smoothie videos from my garden. The Vitamix 7500 is still ticking without a hiccup. Highly recommended. It may be newer versions out by now but very happy with this.

A little tidbit of info - Vitamix is a 100 year old family company and they stand by their product with excellent customer service. If you ever have any problems they will gladly fix or replace. Happy juicing.

Do you need to run it through a fine mesh strainer to remove any pulp, or does the blender pretty well take all of that away? If your blender does leave you with pulp, should you strain it out, or is that just removing good nutrition? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I bought my Vitamix off of QVC or HSN website. You can spread the payments over some months (I dont remember how many but it was super affordable). That is a hard question to answer. I typically make a half gallon at a time as my wife loves them as well. I would guesstimate 8 good sized beets for that. Taste depends much on the type of beets as some lack the sugar content of others. The beets I grow have a fairly high sugar content so it is a sweet but still a beet taste. It may be different initially but quickly become acquired (or at least it did for me). Thanks for watching.

Hendrik Ptd Once you make it fresh from juicing, it is best to drink within 24-48 hours. Otherwise, the juice doesn't lose its potency, yet it begins to slightly separate. If you secure it in a glass jar, and your refrigerator is really cold, 5 days won't hurt you, as the taste, potency and nutrition as still in tact. You will have to blend it again, in order to minimize the separation. I hope this helps..☺️

blending also oxidises the veggie way more than juicing, so the shelf life is a lot shorter, plus a slow masticating juicer is much gentler on the cells of the veggie, leaving the enzymes fully intact as opposed to high speed blending that oxidizes the living crap out of it. And your left with all that fiber still in it, the idea is to give your digestive system a break, which you don't when you blend, I want something i can drink, not a gloopy globy mixture.
