Hi Paul ... Quite a few soft plastics these days are being made with foil inside to make it flash like the sides of a bait fish. It would be great if you could if you could try to replicate this.

That's awesome I really want to learn to make molds it would help me with my non profit kids fishing group. I make weights which that's easy. But I got all them molds when I was working being Disabled it takes longer. But I'm gonna try to figure a way to make baits. I wish I still had my cutting tools they were taken 5 years ago but a friend gets small planks of wood we're gonna cut thin for making fire starters I'm making stuff to help make fires then will give them away. But every year I get sicker so next year I'm hoping to have every thing of mine sold and only have rods reels tackle and camping stuff then I'll start buying stuff to make more things to give away while I can. But I love your channel I'm learning to make baits Rick weights next I want to take thicker planks cut stripes and start trying to make wood baits or try. Lol. But great video god bless.

try a newt (salamander) they are basicly a worm with a head and small hands and feet. you can even give them some action and they swim like most low action shads.

Hello, I have a series on my channel called "What to watch Wednesdays" where I feature a playlist of videos from other youtubers who I have either learned from, been inspired by, or entertained by. This week's topic is all about hand crafted baits and lures. Would you mind if I add this video to this week's playlist? Thanks for the great videos, amazing stuff!

For the first half of the mold try melting oil based modeling clay. It should form around the details so you don't have to spend as much time cleaning up around the rings.
@PaulAdamsTheHandmadeFisherman

i thought about just sitting in the semi cured resin but I cannot see this being easy to control with more than one worm, melting clay may be similar but probably more controllable, i have done this with chavant before today for simple objects, but you still have to clean it off. there are always lots of options and it is good to try a few out cheers
