I tried this when I was a teenager, long time ago.😂 I did it when I made my first bow drill to start a fire, I wasn’t successful, it kept breaking long before I got spark. But it did work for a pump drill. I think if I would have braided three strands it might have worked, next time I’m out fishing I’ll grab a bunch of rushes and try again. Great video Todd, excellent tutorial, have a great day.👍🇨🇦🔪🐶

If at first you don't succeed, stomp around and curse, then try again! 😅 It's always good to practice the skills you might depend on someday! Have a great day!

Good job on that cordage. Thats no where as easy alot of people think it is, and it takes alot of time to make any amount of it. Keep up the good work man!

I appreciate the compliment, and you having a look. It certainly can be tedious, unless you have a nice view and some nature sounds to keep you company. I may do a future one where I try to make a long piece by braiding in different lengths of leaves (or other material). Have a great day!
