I hate to be the finger wagging type but... Please keep in mind you're running machinery that produces a highly flammable liquid near potential sparks and/or flame (depending on your heat source). I think it's important to maintain at least a medium to high level of awareness during all phases of the run. Also, your sense of taste dulls as you get more inebriated so "getting drunk" during the run seems counterintuitive. Thanks for the video, though! Very informative.

Hey, Danna. I appreciate you., and totally agree. This was meant to be a joke in the video, but I have a dry sense of humor that doesn't always translate. However, I do stand by the fact that frequent taste tests are very important throughout the run and this may lead to you getting to feel it as you go through the full run. If you have your wits about you and keep your taste tests in small volumes, there should be no issues with getting drunk and you're completely right in the fact that you SHOULDN'T be inebriated while running a still.
