AND I want to thank you Brent for the beautiful background western twist instrumental music!!!!! I replayed it like three times that music just as loud as my speakers would crank... thinking back when the beautiful young girl I married was in my arms and we did a version of a two step on a waltz beat. I really was in love with the Bi**c* for I had not gone through the ungly pain of her cheating on me. We went state in dance contests for the west coast which was twelve states competing. We won two out of three contests but never went for the gold as it involved too much travel. She was sick the day we lost first place but we did finish third that time... she had intestinal flu an should not even been in the contest but she insisted so we went... To give you a idea of how pretty she was... think Shania Twain, your canadian singer... my lady was her twin in every way. Just to damn pretty for a freak like me. I did the olympic tryouts in the army an just was one big ugly guy. My biceps were bigger than her waistline. I did place in the 1968 army tryouts, since her mother was a close looker to the wife, they would set in stools and I would extend my arms out and grab a leg on the stools and carry both of them. the crowd loved it. I am kinda hoping that this dash is removable as it will give you some advantages should you fall into the cash and do the fancy digital dash thing that seems so popular. I see this build just turning out super good, maybe one of the best but then... I can spend your money faster than your going to ever earn it/LOL. Not so sure but kinda see some fancy hand striping on this dash to bring it out so cool. I like going for the rustic look on the outsides and on the insides look like a Cadillac best if its a possibility to do. I am doing my part by sharing and telling other young starters in making videos on building cars that you are the best of many out there... if they don't think so, its on them. I do get comments back a lot of times and they all agree that your building talents are right there with Scott at coldwar and then there is Japhands Karl who has a lot of skills that are going to get somewhere as time goes on., just believe in yourself Brent as you see things done before the first tac weld ever hits the project

Anyone who wants to learn how to work metal needs to watch your channel. You make it look easy because you make it easy which is a simple fact. Watching you for about 2 yrs. and you are getting better and better at what you do. I like how you show instead of trying to tell others how to do things your way because words mean little to help the hands but seeing teaches the mind and will let the hands find their own way. Keep up the good work for you are more of a teacher than those who may talk too much for talking can take from the learning. Hope you can understand this compliment for I know there are many who must feel as I do?

I have been watching you for a long time . I have recently moved to Thailand and have a house that needs a lot of work. I bought a mig welder and decided to start doing some things around the house. It couldn't be that difficult. You make it look easy. Hahaha. I was having some issues and was losing some of my motivation when I finally got around to watching this video. Your insight to welding and your slow motion footage got me back out into the workshop today and I was able to put what you taught me into practice.

Brent, for your flat piece of Aluminium behind the seats. Perhaps you could stiffen the back side up by using 1x1 inch AL angle and double side tape one leg to the flat sheet. It will help prevent “jerrycanning” if you choose not to bead roll. The design would be the same as bead rolling but it is stiffer (higher moment of inertia). Saves on the dampening sheets too. You could also do a bead roll with the crown facing the car cabin, and on the back of the Al sheet, paste the 1x1” angle.

HI Brent. Looking way better than I expected since I wasn't initially a fan of the '50 Ford dash in this application. You did a great job of integrating it in. The round center plug beneath the speaker grille is crying out for a round gauge like oil pressure, clock, or whatever. You mentioned that the top has already been chopped some so you would have limited head room if you chopped it further, but if you can take another couple of inches out of the top I think it would improve the side profile and reduce the"T" phone booth look a bit. You are super creative. Very interesting. Keep up the nice work.
