Awesome video art! Would love a video on modern mixdown techniques / in-depth mixing/mastering. I couldn't find a ''recent'' video about this and in general I think this topic is very under-appreciated in terms of resources. :-))

great tutorial, loving it. at 20.33, by mutting kick in channel strip you can hear kick buzz on snare. By muting OH you can see it gone. If you eq OH you can reduce it more if needed

Really great video! I'm about halfway through now, and just seeing what things you can tweak and with what intention really helps. Normally i would open up AD and stare at all the buttons for a while and then close the program. Incredible how much of a difference the ghost snares make. Thanks for putting in the time!

Great tutorial. Awesome workflow and thank you for explaining the little things. Rare in youtube that someone fully explains WHY they are doing something or using a particular method or process. Would love to know how you take it from here. Would this break be exported as is for chopping? How would you process it for your sample pack? Would it be the same process for your pack as it would be for your 'personal collection'? Thanks again, always enjoy your content, long or short :)

Yes sick tutorial man! love the long format tutorials, seeing the full process is so useful so we can watch as you tweak knobs and respond to how it changes the sound, really helps understanding the thought process. Would love to see something on synthing ghost snares or making the ghost shuffles groove and fit right

Alright I watched it through and tried to work along. My layers didn't sound as good as yours but still very happy with the results. I would be interested in a video where you start with synth and then add AD2 as layers like you mentioned at the end for more digital drums. Sorry for the comment spam, and once again thanks for the enlightening video!

Hey man! Loved this video very very much but I have some questions: What do you think about using the Play Series : Empire Breaks (from Native Instruments)?* It's possible to make this kick and snare (and other drum sounds) on Vital to? *I think it's great to create some of your "own drumbreaks" and it's textures are great to. Cheers from Portugal!

that was great! i wonder if you could make a video in this style going about starting with a synth for a break and then using addictive drums or something similar to add something to the more synthesized sounding drums? so addictive drums will have the role to be more subtle in this case. another idea is focusing on how you would design some tops without kick and snare to add something to your kick and snare breaks. or like how to fill out space between. it is cool to have simple cymbal and perc patterns but sometimes i really like if it is kinda changing pattern in a interesting way. like in jungle where kinda the thing is to have very changing pattern progressions. so how you would go about editing such fills. examples are i guess oldschool photek or dgohn and mendelayev. would be interesting if you would slice audio to a sampler/drumrack sequencing midi patterns or edit audio loops and oneshots on the grid. could be more arrangement topic i don't know if this is part of this sound design series. i guess a bit?

8:30 why do you go for a multiband waveshaper here? I want to replicate this but don't have a multiband waveshaper. Was wondering what the multiband adds over a normal one or a distortion in this case.

Yo Bro, amazing tutorial first of all 👌 Regarding your question about what doing next, it would be awesome if you could make a tutorial about how to make great DnB Toms. Furthermore it would be quit nice to know, how you would make a drum pattern like in the intro of "Beautiful People" by Marilyn Manson 🤟 Cheers 🌼

The phase stuff is a bit difficult for me. When i play with the phase knob it sounds a bit louder at some points and less loud at other points. But not necessarily better. I also don't have 4x so im just trying to do it by ear haha.
