Salt used is common salt which we use for food...for best results keep the container open in a dry place or else the salt will stick together it'll be hard to take the flowers out . Please subscribe 😺🌺🌹🌼 Edit : in video it states to close the container but...we know that salt absorbs moisture if you keep open container in humid environment like in rainy seasons it will absorbs moisture from the environment and get sticky so that time you can keep the container closed but the best method is to keep open salt container in a dry place the it won't retain moisture remember that flowers also have a lot of moisture in it so overtime in closed container it may make salt stick therefore if you keep it open in a dry place some of the water content may evaporate.. therefore you should keep open salt container in a dry place for best results.. Edit: A important thing this salt method is only for some thick and dry petal flowers like roses , Daisies, marigold etc... You cannot preserve flowers with high moisture and thin petals like hibiscus, moss roses, Jasmine etc... Edit:Well you can just conduct a small test by taking a petal of hibiscus and a petal of rose put it in some Tsp of salt separately in a plate or something after somedays you can examine it the hibiscus flowers will be brownish and spoilt the rose petal will be dried. You can do this test before preserving flowers it will be so much helpful in finding which flowers can be preserved and which cannot be so... Some chemical components of flowers also can be the reason for spoilage of flowers in salt so.. better take this test before preserving flowers. Thank you New method of drying flowers with semolina in this method you won't feel weather and moisture issues please check 👇👇 kzitem.info/news/bejne/omatuGaMf6Ooopg

It depends on the humidity of ur environment , make sure the the place where you keep the container is dry.... to keep the lid open. I guess it is rainy season and if you keep the lid open salt will absorb moisture from the humid environment and stick together soo close the lid or find a dry place to keep the lid open for best results and don't forget to read the pinned comment And do patch test before drying ok😊😊❤❤

Flowers like roses, Daisies, marigolds,etc.. like flowers with dry petals and which don't contain much moisture can be preserved in salt But flowers like hibiscus like flowers which contains high amount of moisture cannot be preserved in salt method . Well you can just conduct a small test by taking a petal of hibiscus and a petal of rose put it in some Tsp of salt separately in a plate or something after somedays you can examine it ,the hibiscus petal will be brownish and spoilt the rose petal will be dried.
