It’s recommended that you store it in a way that it can breathe. I would recommend maybe just putting a coffee filter over a canning jar ring, and securing that.

Thank you. I have seen people that say when the fermentation process is over they dry it then store it. Others say they store it in the fridge. The comfrey, rose petals and plantain leaves that you used, were they dry or fresh? Thank you for your time.

Fresh. It’s the moisture and leaves combined with natural bacteria that creates the fermentation process. It’s just very important to make sure that you clean your container very very well. I use concentrated vinegar. It’s also important that you turn it daily. Give it a good shake consistently. And then just be patient. And then, of course you have to try it thoroughly before you put it in the container so it doesn’t mold.
