Making a vulcanized high-build silicone mould for wargames miniatures to get better parting lines and to avoid mould weaknesses.
This video does not show a vulcanizer in use: I have another video on this channel that looks at a SEBA vulcanizing press ( • Mould making with a SE... )
BTW, I knock the camera few times because I'm working in a constrained space. Also, focus is set on the can, so when I hold a mould up, it goes slightly out of focus - it doesn't show on a small screen.
The video features cream low temperature silicone casting discs from J Coker of Faversham and mould location studs provided by Hewitt-Impex of Market Drayton. These are products I use for day-to-day work and I am not paid to promote them. You could equally use silicone rubber supplied by Coniex of Spain or Nicem of Italy (Hewitt-Impex in the UK), and mould location studs by any of the rubber suppliers.
