What a fantastic guide, I've been curious about getting into Live2d modeling for a few months now but have been intimidated having no digital art or rigging experience. Most guides I've watched over this period seem to gloss over the illustration process usually only mentioning vague tips about "Breaking up parts that you want to move" to me who doesn't know what should move having no animation experience and forced to just expect the eventual brute force of trial and error. This is the exact video I've been looking for, and as well you also use Clip Studio which is my preferred software. Thank you so much for this. ❤

I love how perfect the style is to anime! Every other vtuber model I have seen is beautifully stylized and rendered because of how the model moves via rigging and not animating, but it gives the impression that a model needs to be stylized in certain ways to rig the angles beautifully. Obviously this isn't the case when incredibly simple styles can be rigged to be dynamic, but I have had a hard time getting inspiration for a style that is somewhere in the middle until now. Thank you for that! I suppose it depends on how the lineart can be rigged too, but seeing that it can be simple without being super thick and cartoony gives me hope, ideas and inspiration I desperately needed!

This has been by far the easiest and most 'hands on' kind of tutorial I've seen yet for this. You've explained it all SO well, I'm so grateful. Before I felt overwhelmed at wanting to make my own, but after seeing this I feel a HUGE boost of confidence. ;; Thank you so much, and I'm really looking forward to the next tutorial!!♥

I have to say this is a fantastic guide! I love that the times are broken up into chapters for referencing later, especially since you managed to put such a detailed tutorial in only 20 ish minutes. I've casually thought about doing something like this, but this definitely inspires me to try it! Now to work on my anime/anatomy drawing skills some more and learn how to draw my hooded eyes XD lol (if you could recommend great tutorials for anime drawing that would be fantastic!) Love the video!

How is this different from other "puppet" rigging software, such as MOHO and ToonBoom Harmony? It's comparatively inexpensive, but those other apps also *_DO_* a lot more. I will say that the results here *_are_* impressive.

Hi, Nicca! I’m having some issues using your Anime auto action, AnimeColoringV005, after the New Anniversary update. I’m making an animation with Vector layers as they used to work perfectly, but with the new update, all it does is not recognize the layers and ends up mixing the layers when the auto-action is pressed. Do you also face this issue in the new update? And is there an update you’ve made that I can use in the Coloring stage of Animation? Thanks

I'm not sure about it. right now I use V006 that work completely different from V005. you can check how I currently do here. kzitem.info/news/bejne/pHedtaKdhodinmk

@@Niccakun Thanks, Nicca. Does V006 have the option to create Raster and Vector layer sets like in V005?
@alpha8here

@@Niccakun Also, I just realized my error: there’s supposed to be at least one color pixel. Since the animation I’m working on has Shadows on a different layer entirely, I didn’t include a colored line, so I had errors. Thanks so much for your time, Nicca
