You can tell a craftsman by the way he keeps his tools... but you can tell a master-craftsman by the way he MAKES his tools. If I want to lift my spirit, all I need to do is watch one of your videos. Thank you so much.

Lots of work but maybe worth it for you, the dovetail joints are great. For the amount of work you invested in this, a Brass lever cap piece would've looked so much better. You can still do it, IMHO. Nice video, thanks.

Martin Bissonnette It’s actually pretty common for infill plane makers to do dovetails. As good as this guy is, he’s actually making a small error in shaping the dovetails; most create a small angles notch to peen the metal into to ensure the top and sides don’t come apart. It seems to work for him despite that and he builds beautiful planes.

Beautiful functional art, as always. I am so impressed and inspired. When College is done and I am able to get some shop time, I'll definitely have to have a go at building some of my own. What are the case metal, blade metal, and chip-breaker/hold-down metals you use? Could these be made with brass sides and be usable? What about maybe brass inlaid dovetails?

Small piece of advice no offense meant by it. The brass inserts try machine bolt instead of a Phillips you will be able to get a more equal pressure on it without stripping it so easy. But I also want to say awesome work really enjoy these builds.
