what was this! how did your finger not glue to the base at 2:12... a couple hundred years ago you'd be on a stake for this xD

Its cause of the thickness of the string :P

Fantastic Work on these bases! I've been looking to do something similar on my Tyranid army and will 100% be using this method for them. Earned a sub from me here, can't wait to see what you do in the future.

Vraiment fou !

These look amazing but the thumbnail I clicked on is super misleading. I don’t know anyone that would call this “easy”.

You’ll get better over time therefore it becomes easy.
@Kelann08
@@krusnikiam2777 that may be true, but that's not how the term is used in cases like this. It means easy at that point in time, not easy eventually for some. It's not "easy relative to your current experience".

@@drzephy it's okay. Easy for you isn't necessarily easy for the general public. I also don't think that modeling clay and texture rollers fall into the realm of easy since those aren't a common thing to have. It's an agree to disagree, but takes nothing away from your amazing work and the effort you put into the tutorial. Please know I appreciate all of it!

That's fair. I think another bias of mine is that I consume a ton of hobby content and I see these rolling pins a lot so they don't register as hard to use anymore. Thanks for your comment my friend!

Which colours did you use to paint the yellow building stones? Most people use a grey scheme, but i like more a yellow scheme closer to the artwork. And yours looks the exact tone i had in mind.

Ah i wish i saw this earlier, my bases are very similar minus the vines. Great addition and pretty easy to get the materials. Good idea.

Thanks! I suppose you can still try to add them to some of your bases? I feel like the priming isn't required for the string, but I might be wrong

@@drzephy I see it like that... As mean as it might sound... I don't care about the person behind painting tutorial channels. I am hear to learn. If you look something up and you want an answer, and the tutorial you found starts with 5 minutes of talking you either skip forward or you think to yourself "ok f off i am looking for someone who comes to the point" On the other hand if its a very informative and well rounded tutorial i tend to sub and show up frequently. Just my humble opinion

@@thebigm7558 Yeah I understand. I guess it's just a difference of opinion. I like when ppl add a bit of personality into their tutorials so that's why I do it. But I agree I could try and do it better to make it suit most ppl. Out of curiosity, I like putting an explanation of what my plan is before I go into the tutorial. Does that turn you off as well or is that fine?

@@drzephy If its brief and not drawn out sure! As i said the perfect tutorial channels are like the old art shows you would watch on tv. Easy to follow, step by step explanations and maybe some unique technique! But as i said your models look very nice! I will definitely stick around!
