I was impressed by the construction, but the paint job blew my socks off. Great build, and great tutorial.

Pretty cool stuff. Purple in shadows is the mark of someone that doesn't cut corners for the sake of a video.

Really surprised to see you only had one crafting video and only 352 subs! This is top notch stuff :) if you end up doing more I'll be watching. Your painting on this piece really made it pop and inspired me to rethink some of the stuff I am brewing I bought your mothership module as well. Love the Alien RPG and made a bunch of maps for it, but always wanted to try mothership

aw thanks :) and thanks for picking up the module! i've been meaning to have a look at alien rpg, but i'm still pretty obsessed w mothership

@@ultraparadiso Its a great game, has some fun modules. As someone who has NOT played mothership I cant help but feel like youd probably just spend your entire time playing it wondering why you didnt just convert the module to mothership unless you just love the year zero system. Its fast and easy to understand so it has that going for it but Idk what alien can do that mothership cant. Maybe the stress systems are much different but its all loosey goosey that you can be as permissive/stress inducing as you want. Did you plan on making a player facing computer interface? I love the computer terminal look so much and Id love to play the whole module like that on my tv but Im too lazy to set it up in foundry lol

love how you built and painted these pieces! it's very different from my style of creating terrain, but it looks so cool and unique! i was gonna comment on your video editing being really good too, but more than that i'm in love with the storytelling and history of the city and i'm already looking forward to learning more about it! the bg music was also stellar and fit the vibe perfectly. also very cool that you mentioned the mothership rpg, i'm not really that into osr games but that one is one i've been interested in checking out. anyways, awesome video!

Not enough table-top terrain crafting videos where the terrain is designed to be modular. Most people just make one-off, centerpiece, scatter terrain

Either that or it's a whole giant project in one video. Stuff like this makes it feel so much more approachable.

These are so cool! One note on the editing though - not sure if it's just cause I'm watching on a smart TV but your voice gets drowned out by the music in places. Great stuff otherwise!

Incredible work. Really like the use of just dots of PVA glue off a tooth pick to make rivets. I'm definitely going to use that trick going forward. So much easier than gluing tiny dots of card stock made using a small diameter hole punch, which is what I've generally used until now. Using straight glue sounds way easier and less fiddly.
@ultraparadiso

thanks! the only caveat i'd give about glue is it can be tricky to get them looking round enough. on the other hand, if one looks bad you can just wipe it away before it dries!

Nice build. But the low volume fry voice with the eclectic background music is a bit distracting. At this point, I’d just drop the music all-together.
