Outstanding! My father in WW2 was in an Operational Training Squadron. Between combat operations he trained air crew in Air Gunnery, Wireless and Radar. Some of the crews were Polish. He said they were the bravest men he ever met.

Damn, SnapJelly giving you a shout out feels like a week ago. And I'm glad he did. From goofing around in armor to making sabers, now that's some progress! Keep it up! Mistakes happen and we learn from them. I don't do smithing or metalwork, but I've messed up a fair share of other projects that I had to start from scratch, it's all part of gaining experience. I'm looking forward to more of your works!

Super ci to ziomeczku wyszło.

Hi! I have seen some small black "dots" (marks) and lines on the blade, is it okay for sabre?

I guess you mean forge marks, I think they aren't a problem unless they are cracks

The tip broke probably because it was too hot when it went in quench or it was dropped

the tip was the eye of the leaf spring where it was probably most used up with microfractures or something and broke . If I was going to make it next time I would order new steel instead of scrap.

I discovered you two days ago and watched all your videos in chronological order. It’s really cool to see your skills evolve. Keep up the progress. I want to become a blacksmith as well but I still got long ways to go, so wish me luck… even though skill is needed. But I’m in good hands. Have a wonderful 2023!

Mnóstwo roboty. Jestem ciekaw czy pokusisz się aby wszystkie elementy jelca i głowicy wykuć... bez używania spawarki. Mnie się podoba.
