Awesome work! I love to see, how all the VFX is quite simply put together in postproduction (thought it looks extremely difficult watching the movie itself). Looking forward for your next project :)

Btw, you could of film it on its actual 2.39.1 aspect ratio so no crop would be needed at end. Just saying. LOVED IT!

Thank you! I prefer to shoot that way so I have more room to reframe the image, it's especially useful for dynamic movement. Also the distortion effect I used for special vision shots would not work as I wanted if I were using wide aspect in camera 🙂.

Awesome short , Poland woods make for great immersion too! One question: in your "S-Log3 for ZV-E10" video your executed all nodes BEFORE Color Space Transform. And here you're doing it AFTER CST. Is it because in S-Log3 for 8bit workflow they are supposedly "corrective" nodes, and here in BMPCC workflow they are "creative"?

Thanks, that's right I'm doing corrections before, on individual clips and groups, and the main look after cst. Now instead of using CST I prefer to use Davinci Color Management in project settings.

I just got my Tokina 14-20 today on a great deal I love it it has beautiful character to it I also have 11-20 I realize filmmaking is a journey I don’t like modern lenses they look so videoish to a degree unless you create color profiles to give it character but I would rather have that in the lense organically

@@VilkanVisions man I have to say thanks again this lens has so much character I’m glad as a filmmaker I discovered vintages lenses and those with character I film some things in the house with color correction it just look so cinematic I think I will make a video and mention you if that cool

Hello sir, we have a film to shoot for tomorrow and I think we are in the same location within the forest. I have a question regarding the light. It is already good? The natural light in the forest? Btw the theme is horror, It is already color gradable? Do we need any lights on this?
@VilkanVisions

Hi, natural light has always great quality, sometines you just have to shape it if there's a need, with diffusion, bounce or negative fill.
