I do a ton of studying but tbh all it takes is faith the size of a mustard seed, not a PhD to receive what the scripture says, so at the end of the day it's not important how "nerdy" or "smart" or "educated" we are because the Bible states that God uses the foolish things of this world to confound the wise....this is why some fishermen could interpret the Bible better then the educated religious folks of their day.........idk why but I see much "nerd" talk on here and it just feels like a bunch of ppl are wagging their own tails....

I wish Tim would come and preach this in my Church. I have been trying to teach Old Testament Survey in my Sunday School class and gave them a little bit on how we got our Bible and will give them some more, unfortunately it is just way too much to give it to my Sunday Morning Church. These days you only get one sermon on Sunday, and you get the cream of the crop in Sunday School and what they should be learning at their age in Christ is way over their heads. Sunday sermon to the congregation, you don't get the cream of the crop, just the crop. Its a lot harder to bring it down to their level, especially when your Pastor doesn't know it because he never bothered to get training from a Bible College or Seminary and he is threatened by those of us who have any formal training so we are not allowed to preach.

This was amazing. It just makes it that much more simple to understand and believe. It comes down to you either believe or you don’t. Everyone is going to have an excuse as to why they don’t believe. Or not liking how God handled things. At the end of the day God is God and you either believe or you don’t. It’s amazing how it all comes together

I actually finished the entire Bible in a year thanks to the "Read Scripture" app. And I'm reading through it again. The app and your illustrative videos help so much! Thank you! I didn't know you had a channel. Glad I'm here.

I am half way through this as a result of it just auto playing from other videos I was watching. Maaaan, I freaking love this guy!! I absolutely LOVE his passion because it's so infectious. To see his excitement about that fingerprint from the scribe made me giddy inside 😂. I def plan to watch this at least 2 more times. What an incredible teaching and gift from God.

“Half of our problems, in public squares, in American Culture, come from our fundamental misuses of the Bible. Trying to get it to say things that it’s not fundamentally saying. This is a divine word and human word, for what. To make us WISE. It’s God-spirited, GOd’s spirit. It’s this. GOd’s spirit in the Bible, always works in and through with human beings. “
