Sure is...When i get a bit of time to put it together i found an old Wine box with a sliding lid in the shed i'd forgotten about..needs a clean.. But it'll make a good 3 stringer i reckon ...And i'll guess you can still buy wine in a box....If you can then you get to drink the wine and make a guitar....What more could you possibly want....

Del, once again another great vid and build. There are many out there, but you my friend are my biggest help and greatest CBG inspiration. I'm on my 3rd guitar... A bullpup 6 string. Why 6 strings? Because 3 aren't enough! ;) Great playing and a greater song choice. Isaiah 41:10

Im new to the box guitar building, however does the harmonic series effect regular styles of playing on the guitar for chording? How can I get a copy of the cords and fingering of that beautiful rendition of 'how great thou are" you are playing? I'm so impressed!

Another great build Del, thanks for sharing your knowledge and skills with us all. I have watched many of your videos and I am getting ready to make some Cigar Box Guitars and I have a question about the scale of this build. I know you have made it to a 25" scale but it seems a lot longer. Is that just an illusion caused by the angles in the video? It seems a lot longer then 25 inch from Nut to Bridge....... Again many thanks for all your great videos, please keep making and posting them!!!!

Say dell need to share something! You may know this already but. Cant keep it unless we share it!. Buddy look into MGB parts. 1/4 inch flat micro pic-ups making some great sound and makes our guitars stronger from cutting into our necks. So i wanted to share that with you.

I'm glad you enjoy the book, and I always enjoy hearing you play! I can't believe I would learn anything more than I already have learned from reading and watching videos, such as your own, as well as my own building experience. Now I know this is negative, and I really hate to call anyone out, but I think this is overdue: When I watch Shane's videos... many of which are good I admit, and he is an awesome musician... I just can't bear all the self promotion. So I don't watch him, and I don't intend to buy the book for that reason. Having a sponsor (even if it is your own company) is fine, but I just feel like he overdoes it. Am I the only one who feels this way?

i had a buddy of mine at work create it for me using computer program and CNC machine. but you don't need a template. i figured this out by finding the harmonics and placing the frets there...instead of using a fretting template. the EAR is the final judge
