#2 In this video I take the handles from the last video "making multi piece knife handles" and I profile, drill and countersink them for 2-56 screws. I go over everything that I use which is
1/4" to 3/8" 2-56 screws and 2-56 threaded standoffs that are 1/4 inch long with an 1/8 inch OD, there both from mcmastercarr. The standoff and screw lenth depends on how thick your steel and handles are it needs to be longer than the steel is thicker so they stick out on either side to secure the handles
-BM5000 Bosch rotary drill bit set from amazon.com or .ca
-black G10 .187 thick and green G10 .060 thick alphaknifesupply.com
-1/8" drill bits from drill hog on ebay.com
I made a mistake in the video I said your better off with 1/2 to 3/8 screws and just shorten them, I meant to say your better off with 3/8" and then shorten them so you can use them with any size, unless you use thinner handles go with 1/4" long and you still might need to shorten them
