To make My drums smack hard I use Scream 4 on Tube setting, and if I need drums to cut through in a busy mix I'll use the EQ on the Original vocoder. Then panning, layering and M Class EQs.

Yes I have a part 2 for this doing exactly that with a few other techniques included. Thanks for watching!

You’re definitely on the right track with tightening the kit and layering, Next step for the “slap” is to work with parallel compression and clip your drums at the end. There’s a bunch of free ones but it will change the game for you ^^

I use allways. Tone to fx. Then unison fx then split the signal. 1 reverb left 1 reverb right. And separte 1 mono reversed reverb. And 1 dry. And then mixit .. especially. When do in combinator. Put programmer to random note . And let all little bit random volume. Just small value. And sounds realistic. Cad do alsi random the transiator. Attack and delay. All fx. And will be a very nice tone what change everytime when hit the gate. Means evry hit will be a little diffrent. Thats works by the most sounds. Only when do rolls. Then should stay fix. Cause rolls better. When fix low till high value.. pitch down till pitch up. But for the one shots. I love it when them allways sounds diffrent. And with the pan of left right and the mone reverse it sounda like a real tone in your room❤

Kickback….???? when i put the drum samples on the grain do I have to tune them or do I leave them alone 🙏🏾 explain 😊
@KickbackCouture

I leave them alone unless I want to tune it. I tune 808s in Grain but I leave everything else. How about you?

Hello Lady, I wanted to know, if you could make a video showing how to make a Shimmer Reverb in reason, using stock plugins.

It's crazy. A few years ago, I asked you one simple question to make sure not to make a mistake and you never answered. You got back to those white dudes very timely, though. Black people are very funny with each other, something I will never understand.
