That corer peeler thing - in Australia we call them apple slinky makers and they are purely for making apples appealing to kids! Its a huge novelty. My 6yo likes to take apple slinkys to school because everyone gets really jealous apparently 🤣

I had a small apple orchard in the backyard of my house growing up. I remember seeing lots of deer passing through and TONS of fruit flies/other bugs. My brother also got a hornet stuck in his shirt while climbing an apple tree. That was intense.

I love this soap, it reminds me of my mom, who is a first grade teacher. For as long as I've known her, she's always used apple scented soaps and lotions, and her favorite color is green. Also, Thank you so much for your videos, they're amazing and they've helped me through my depression!!

Apple is my absolute favourite scent. If I find something apple scented at the shops, I MUST buy it. I definitely need to try making this.

This would be absolutely divine with some soap canes shaped like seeds (like a watermelon soap) in the middle to complete the 'apple cross-section' look! On the question of the day, I have a dohickey that is both a wire spatula and a pair of tongs made for easy flipping of grilled cheese. It's sooooo handy omg

I’m the same with the cherry pitter. When it’s cherry season I’ll buy a bag every few days, so I feel like having a pitter is justified.

I use a garlic sleeve. It’s a silicone sleeve you put your garlic in, roll it around in your hands, and the skin is off. Garlic is a staple and this thing is used ALL the time.

MySuperfluous kitchen items are: tiny pots that are not realistically large enough to cook a sustainable amount, and a veggie chopper. They are extra but I use them and the veggie cutter honestly is THE BEST

I have a pickle lifter at home! I don't even eat pickles all that often, but when I do, using a pickle lifter brings joy to me. And I'm not talking about a jar or glass where there's a pickle lifter installed, I mean a separate plastic thing where I dump in my pickles. Yes, super unnecessary, but always delightful

I love snapdragon apples! They are a newer type of apple and kind of hard to find. They are crisp and sweet like a honeycrip but have a hint of granny smith tartness.
