Thank you for sharing this! Someone had given us two packs of venison chops, and I rarely use venison that isn’t ground. I followed this method and then sliced and served with stir-fry. Delicious!

Did you just say you shot a bear?!? You made it sound like that’s an everyday ordinary thing! 😳😂 I didn’t even know you could get grease from one! Anywho, making my version chops tonight so thank you for the recipe

Thanks! I never cooked chops before today and wow those were possibly the best thing I’ve cooked in my life😂😭. Mine were about half the thickness so I adjusted accordingly, but other than that did exactly what you said to. And they turned out perfect. I put half a clove of garlic in aswell with the butter and then threw the chops in. Thank you! Will be doing this a bunch more👌👌

I’m sorry, I may have missed it… but did you mention at anytime they need to be cooked to medium rare?

Yes medium rare. Never cook venison more than that. Makes it too tough unless you slow cook for time.

Medium rare is pushing it. LoL. I prefer rare to almost medium. Blood is for the men who don't mind diving in at the bad time of the month. Lmfao
