Sorry no offense but it's taken this guy weeks if not months to make this. At least going by the frequency of the videos hes putting out. I watched several other KZitem's make this exact weapon with the exact weight and measurements and they literally could put it down into one video. They said it only took about a week to make it. Granted this guy doesn't have water cutting tools and sand blasting tools. So I guess a little understandable that it wouldn't look as good as the other peoples and would take longer. However making people wait almost like 3 to 4 months just to watch one sword get made I can see why the chainnel doesn't do as good

I think my favorite part of this series (except ofc the weight of the sword) is all the problem solving he has to do. Navigating around the old machines, slim clearances and difficult angles, demolishing his own shop just to move the sword from one room to another, it's a struggle, but there's something profound about it

On the saw cuts, do you think going full depth of cut might have reduced the contact area between the tool and workpiece, thus reducing the resistance in the cut? Think of a circle intersected by a long rectangle. If you want to minimize the length of the circumference of the circle that falls in the boundary of the rectangle, you’d want the rectangle to pass as close as possible to the center of the circle. Sorry if I’m not really explaining this well.
