I REALLY hope we get to see more of this series! This was beyond hilarious, and adorable, and made my day 100% better. Also, cookbook is now on my wish list for when I can afford it. Just 24 hours ago I (along with my 11-year-old niece) attempted my first-ever homemade bread recipe. I missed one teeny tiny little point in the recipe and added half a cup of self-rising flour... instead of one and a half cups. My niece decided the bread pudding we made tasted good.

Just made the chicken-something dumplings today. Little tip/idea: *don't* discard the skin as said in the recipe, but instead roast it in the pan 'til it's crispy. You now can either eat it as snack, or, for example, like we did today, cut the crispy chicken skin in smaller pieces and sprinkle it over the dumplings when they're on your plate, it tastes great, at least in my opinion.

Definitely keep this one going. I bought this book for my sister and brother-in-law for Christmas, and tried a few of the recipes for myself. The Delayed Blast Fireball is truly deadly. Haven't tried the Traveler's Stew yet.
