Ugali is a type of cornmeal porridge made with corn flour and water and is found throughout Africa. It is one of the main staple sources of carbohydrates for many elite athletes in the Rift Valley. Ugali is also known as ngima,'obusuma' nshima, Mieliepap, phutu, and sadza. It is simple to make and very filling.
